I didnt know andrea parsnau could sing. Anyway, amazing book, I might recomnend it to ppl instead of the Wandering Inn as it seems like a shorter access to the world (for now)

A different side of the Wandering Inn World
And I enjoyed it immensely. The world building is as always fantastic though I struggled more with the characters. The plot seemed stagnant a bit and while I understand having to repeat world building issues for new readers, the static stroll through the dungeons seemed very unchanging and somewhat boring, otherwise, I admire the author doesn’t hesitate to kill of characters and destroy entire strips of land for the sake of a story.

This book is better heard then read
I already loved Andrea Parsneau as a reader, a lot. But I never expected her to sing. With herself. In all character voices. At the same time.
This is an amazing experience <3

Always too short
19 hours, 40 hours, 60 hours, it's always too short and ends after few days. I can't wait until the next story from pirateaba. Sending you donations every month, so you can focus on more writing and more releases! 😀

Not on par with Wandering Inn
All in all its a good audio book, while I find the singing a bit awkward.
The book is a nice supplement to The Wandering Inn but stand alone it might be a tough.
Gives some lore and World building to the main series.
Still one of the better litrpg entries currently available.
Will wait for book two and see how it develops.

Long awaited, exceeds all expectations
I never liked audio books, but this one is special. Make's me smile like an idiot and laugh like a maniac (not recommended in public transport).

Andrea outdid herself on this one!
If you look for a fun light novel that makes you smile and laugh sometimes and weep at other times, this is perfect.
Do not expect high literature but a good fun novel to pass the day. Like a good Dramedy Episode worth rewatching even years later.
The Speaker did a great job reflecting the emotions of the main character in her songs that are worked all over into the story and the voiced characters are nearer to an audio play than just an audio book with her versatility and ingenuity.

A bit disappointing
I am a big fan of the Wandering Inn. This new story took about 10 hours to get started. How many times did she ask the ghost if he was a ghost? There was a lot of shouting all the time. I couldn’t connect with Cara - somehow she felt strange. Also her attitude. Well, perhaps next time.

A Bumpy Ride with Cara
I was really excited to dive into Pirateaba's latest audiobook, but man, was I in for a surprise!
The story revolves around Cara, a young actor and singer from our world, who's pretty much all about herself and her opinions. Her attitude rubbed me the wrong way, and it made it hard to get into the story. Plus, there were these singing parts thrown in, which totally threw me off. I'm not a fan of musicals, so I found myself skipping those bits just to get back to the good stuff.
Yes, there were still moments where Pirateaba's world-building skills shone through, which I came for.
But overall, Cara's overpowering presence and the musical stuff didn't quite gel with what I love about Pirateaba's work.
